SUPPORT during a pivotal time
The transition away from home and into college comes with challenges and opportunities - you don't have to go it alone! I'm available to help you explore thoughts, feelings, and fears related to entering a different type of academic environment, forging new social connections, and leaving home. Once at school, therapy can provide a safe space to help you navigate complicated relationship dynamics, identity issues, or academic stress. It can also be a useful support in managing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma and the transition out of college and into whatever next steps you take.
I worked in independent school environments for almost 20 years before becoming a therapist. Additionally, I completed my clinical training and worked for several years in Swarthmore College's Counseling and Psychological Services Center. I love working with young adults at this stage of life and bring a holistic and personalized approach to everyone I work with. Areas of focus include:
